This Supernatural Story

When a household with Lucy Liu as Rebekah and her distressed teen Chloe moves into their fresh home, the lens – representing the ghost – follows them around. The teen shows signs of aware of the ghostly being, and it looks like protective of her. Yet what is the reason? The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
The iconic actor fully commits to his cult stardom through this autobiographical spoof. This Creepy Thriller
Scott Derrickson's contained scarefest stands strong without requiring a continuation. Set in 1978 Denver, multiple kidnappings has rendered the local kids anxious. When Finney gets captured by the villain and locked up in a cellar, he anticipates a terrible outcome. But the old telephone in the room continues to ring, with eerie communicators offering help, and the intuitive nightmares of his sister Gwen could save him. A genuinely scary movie. Saturday 11 October, 10.50pm, on Film4
The Tammy Faye Biopic
In the conflict between spirituality and money, the winner is obvious for materialism in Michael Showalter's delightfully tacky film adaptation of the disgraced religious broadcaster and her criminal husband. Andrew Garfield portrays the greedy Jim, who proclaims early on, “God does not want us to be poor,”. Both individuals begin profiting from the people's religious faith. It's an extravaganza of poor styling, bad makeup and insincerity, though Chastain manages to show Tammy Faye as a sympathetic figure. October 14th, 1.15am, Film4
